Heaven is the home of a divine family - Father, Son & Holy Spirit - living in perfect love and unity. And when He created the universe and our world in it, God’s heart was to extend that love to include all creation, and us in it. But sadly, we messed it up and our world does not look like God intended.
So when Jesus Christ came to live amongst us, He came to begin the process of restoring and renewing our world back to that loving, perfect relationship between God and us. As we wait for this to come to competition, we as His church get to experience a taste of what is to come, knowing His wonderful love and power at work in us for His world.
And while the church is universal, we believe God establishes local expressions of church where people can commit to one another and reflect how Heaven works, on Earth. So everything we do, we do as family, a Community of Followers who Influence many thousands in our town with God's amazing love. We do this through various activities.
Sunday service - worship, teaching, joy
Our Sunday Service, starting at 10:30am, are celebrations where we exuberantly express our thanks to the Saviour who has freely saved us by His grace. We believe that the Bible is God's infallible Word and we teach to equip and empower people to become more like Jesus and express Him in their adventure. And we love being together and laughing together. Always joyful and often unpredictable, we love coming together as a Community belonging to Jesus.
Small Groups
We are a Community of Followers - Jesus followers who live as apprentices to His Lordship and love, with a desire to be with Jesus, become like Jesus and do what Jesus did. We run various small groups to help empower us for this adventure, as well as DISCovery groups - even smaller groups of 2, 3 or 4 people who choose their own time and place to regularly connect and encourage, challenge and pray for one another.
Living Grace Church in the Community
Our foundation of community and following Jesus enables us to Influence the world with the love and light of Jesus. We run various groups which provide love and support to people and families, sharing the Gospel and Kingdom of Jesus through action as well as word.
Children & Youth
We run LGC Kids during our morning service at Weston Favell Primary School, for ages 4 - 12. This time includes worship, stories, games and crafts to support our children in their adventure of following Jesus
During the service our youth also meet bi-weekly to be encouraged and empowered on their journey. of following Jesus. And on Friday nights we partner with our friends at New Life Church in Tower Street, joining our youths together for fun and games, worship and teaching.
