Comforting thoughts
/Good morning children of God, loved by the Father. Welcome to another week. Dreary yes, but latent with adventure!
Yesterday I was once more amazed by how we as a family came together as one over our future, and as families sowed seeds in faith for our new building. Many of us still believe for Pearce House. I know some of you are less certain about this, but still responded and sowed into our new building.
Unity does not mean we agree on everything, but that we are joined in heart, one as family with Jesus as our head. This is powerful and a vital core of blessing.
We will add what you gave yesterday to a gift we will give to another work in the town, details of which we will provide soon.
And a big thank you to those who walked around the land, claiming it for Jesus, blessing the people and prophesying to our plans. Pearce House itself is looking sad, but next to it stands the old powerhouse which has been renovated and shows what PH will look like. We believe that our acts of faith will yield fruit.
We don't always understand what is happening: with PH, in our world, our corporate life or personally. But we have privileged access to the source of all wisdom to ask. We don't have to thrash around in the dark and in despair. God works in ways that can be above our capability to fully understand (Isaiah 55:7-11) but we know He is a good Father who is sovereign over all and able to use everything for His purposes and our good.
He gives us the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) so we can ask and receive answers. He will either deliver or strengthen us for the journey. He speaks to us because we are His friends (Genesis 18:17). His thoughts don't have to overwhelm us - they become our comfort. So go after them with all your heart, whatever the price.
Next Sunday Diane Kinning is preaching which is always a treat! Mother's Day too so it's gonna be a great day. Be blessed, wonderful family, with Living Grace so you can reign in life - for yourself, your family and your world...
