No ordinary child

Welcome to a new week, presiocus people of God. I hope it will be full of encounter, demonstration and adventure.

Ringing in the our ears for those at LGC yesterday is a shout of hope and the words of the Holy Spirit through a song, which set up the message from Diane. It was appropriate on Mothers Day that one of our wonderful mums should bring us such great encouragement. 

The message was of the Perfect love of our Father. It's a love which He focuses on you and, along with Moses, shows you that you are 'no ordinary child' (Hebrews 11:23). It's a love that we can experience in all its fierceness, as David showed us in Psalm 139. We are allowed to ask Him to show us and flood us with this love, a love that can leave us dancing around our lounges, or rooted to the floor in absolute awe of a His majesty.

Whichever, we were made to experience it, and to share it with a world longing for real love, the love of a perfect Father. Ask Him to show you His love this week. Put Him in the centre and let Him pour it out on you. You will never be the same again as you are changed from glory to glory.

I hope you Mothers had a great day yesterday. Big thanks to the children for their messages of love, to Judith and the CoGs team for recording them, and to Robin and Divya who put together such a great video. We have a good family.
